Abstract (EN)
Logistics has been at the centre of military, commercial and economic activities since ancient times. The logistics sector, which has an important place in meeting the increasing mobility needs in line with technological developments and ever-growing global trade, has evolved within the framework of climate change and sustainability issues and has emerged the concept of green logistics. Green logistics is seen as the main development area of the modern and innovative logistics approach that focuses on human and environmental sensitivity. The green logistics approach, which puts forward policies, infrastructure and mechanisms in this direction, is an area open to development in our country as in the world. This study focuses on the concept of logistics and its historical development, transport corridors, important transport and logistics infrastructures of Türkiye and green logistics. Firstly, the development of logistics, smart logistics, national and international regulations, competencies in the field of transport, border crossing and customs activities are analysed under the main title of logistics concept and its historical development. Within the scope of the review, global transport corridors passing through Türkiye and important corridors in the world are investigated and Türkiye's logistics infrastructures, investments and logistics performance are tried to be revealed. In the study where the concept of green logistics, national and international regulations and practices, combined transport and logistics practices in the world and Türkiye are discussed, research has been conducted to meet the needs of the logistics sector with the combined transport regulation and green logistics certificate. As a result of the research, policy and solution suggestions have been put forward in order to make green logistics more effective and efficient in Türkiye.
