Abstract (EN)

The characters of seed micromorphology are important features of taxonomic value. Studies in recent years have revealed the importance of the seed micromorphology characters in evaluating the species. In this study, the proximity to each other of the taxa of the Acutiflorae (Fenzl) Hayek sections, spreaded in Turkey, which is Minuartia L. (Caryophyllaceae) kind are determined according to the seed micromorphology. Seed micromorphology of taxons were examined by light and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). As a result of the study, it is identified that the seeds are reniform or round in terms of shape, dark or light brown in terms of colour, their surfaces are granulose and the threads of surface cell edge are regular. Identified characters are presented in the table and a distinction key is made by using the data. Keywords: Minuartia, Acutiflorae, seed, micromorphology, Turkey
