The conservative help organizations in Turkey

Poverty is a term on which many studies concentrate nowadays. In this sense the importance of civil social institutions are getting more and more. There is not much information in literature on establishment of the conservative aid institutions in Turkey, working scope and their functions under the light of Islamic standpoint on poverty and principles on social aid and solidarity suggested by Islam.The subject of this study is basically the history of civil social institutions and their legal improvements and the role which conservative aid institutions in Turkey play on the point of poverty, fighting poverty and social aid and solidarity under the frame of principles on aid and solidarity suggested by Islam.In general, it is possible to express the aims of the study as below:a)To show the general view of conservative aid institutions by making a conceptua solution of the term "conservatives" under the lights of sociology and religiou sociology,b)To consider how our society affects the aid perception from the sociological standpoint by evaIuating the attitude to the term "poverty" of Islam under th principles and fundamentals of aid and solidarity.c)To reveal the roles that civil social institutions in general and conservative aı institutions in private play on the point of social aid and solidarity.As well as scanning the literature, two aid institutions - one is a club and the other charitable foundation under juristic person- which can be considered as a conservative are examined as a model incident while the study is being done. Since it is seen tha conservative aid institutions have the same structure on the subjects such as function scopes, regulations, establishment certificates, two aid institutions are examined in detail.As a result of the study made under the frame, it is seen that the principles of aid an solidarity suggested by Islam can be more efficient from a social perspective by means of conservative aid institutions. It is expressed that financial worships having social functions own a great value with big organizations on the scope of social aid and solidarity on a spherical scale. From this facet the findings achieved after the study are said to provide crucial openings.
