Abstract (EN)
In particular with the industrial revolution in the second half the 18?Th century production accelerated and the human race with the machine has begun. Adaptation of human beings who are biological and emotional existence to the speed and intensity of work life, have become more challenging. On human life it has begun to be seen negative impact of this fast pace which is noticed since 1950?s and conceptualized in 1970?s. At first, these negative symptoms had been tried to be explained by ?stress? concept, and later it began to be expressed with the "burnout" concept. Only through the work, reading the meaning of life triggers this negative process in modern life. Problems encountered in working life, contain whole of human life and cause to harm on the human psyche.When the Concept of burnout individually handled in psychological base, borders of the issue expands and extends various dimensions of social life as in the case of Pines research on spouse burnout. In organizational level, burnout is limited with the the working life, working environment and a professional, and it is taken the effects of these factors. In this context transition can be made from concept of "burnout,? to "job burnout"In this study It is investigated that professional burnout of accountants. With this study it has been efforted to find answers these questions: Can the accountant profession be long life profession in Turkey? What kind of stress sources threatens the profession? What is the rate of stress resources triggered the burn out in work place? What should be done to avoid burnout?To answer study questions, required data collected by survey. Collected data are modeled with the structural equation model. In the model burnout were investigated in three sub-dimension (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment). Also in working life sources of stress; role conflict, role ambiguity, and excessive work load are empirically presented. The effects of demographic and personal characteristics on sources of role stress and burnout are found by mean analyzes.As a result, in the dimension of emotional exhaustion, contrary to the hypothesis it was founded that the role conflict has negative effects. It is observed that present rol conflict of accountants has a structure hold them active. It was determined that although the role ambiguity has impact on other dimension of the burnout the greatest impact was on reduced personal accomplishment. Excessive workload is found to be effective in most dimensions of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization.
