Abstract (EN)

This research; It is a research that reaches information on the use of resources, types and proficiency in musical hearing literacy classes in the education processes of private music education centers and music courses that provide preparatory training for aptitude exams for undergraduate music departments in Turkey. In order to determine the methods and resources used by music educators for musical hearing literacy education in the preparatory education processes, data were obtained by applying the survey technique, one of the screening methods. The population of the research consists of music educators working in the course centers that provide training for music talent exams throughout Turkey. The sample group is; Music departments in 37 cities, 30 of which are metropolitan cities, are composed of 142 private music education centers providing aptitude exam preparation training and 167 music educators working in these courses. In the study, a data collection tool was developed in line with expert opinions. In the questionnaire form, in which the quantitative data of the research were obtained, information about the sources used for musical hearing, reading and writing was collected by using five-point Likert type scaling. In addition, questions related to the demographic characteristics of the music educators in the sample group on the subject are also included in the questionnaire. The findings of the research were carried out according to frequency and percentage calculations in the SPSS 25 program, and its reliability was obtained with the SPSS Cronbach Alpha calculation method. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the resources used in many educational institutions and levels that provide vocational music education throughout Turkey. It has been concluded that the resources used show adequacy in the studies conducted for the aptitude tests in musical hearing, reading and writing education. According to the results of the research, it has been suggested that the duration and time of the resources used for the preparation training for the aptitude exams can be extended by the music educators.
