Abstract (EN)

4414 specimens were collected by area studies between April- September in 2000-2002 and between April-August in 2003 in provinces of Aydın, Antalya, Burdur, Denizli, İsparta, Muğla, Mersin, Osmaniye, Adana, Kahramanmaraş and Hatay locate in Mediterranean region of Turkey. 78 species group taxon belong to 33 genus of 10 family order Odonata were determinated. Synonims, some morphological characteristics, habitats and phenologies and distributions in study area of species and subspecies determinated in study area were given. Distributions of each species were given in two categories, distributions in Turkey and distributions in world. Lestes sponsa (Hansemann, 1823) belongs to Lestidae family, Ischnura intermedia Dumont, 1974 belongs to Coenagrionidae family, Cordulegaster pictus Selys, 1854 belongs to Cordulegasteridae family and Libellula quadrimaculata Linnaeus, 1758 belongs to Libellulidae family are first records to the Mediterranean region of Turkey. Distributions of species in research area are shown on separate map for each species.
