Turkey's apple export and examination of the region Isparta Eğirdir

In this study, it has been aimed examination of Turkey's apple export and the regıon Isparta Egirdir. A detailed research was conducted within the scope of the study. Data on apple production, apple yields, apple trade, apple import and export were obtained from databases such as TÜİK, FAO, USDA. The obtained data are current and indicated in the tables. It has been commented on data. In this study, it has benefited from domestic and foreign internet resources such as various articles, theses and reports. In the first section of the study, the definition of apple and its plant characteristics are given and described in detail. The current data about trade of world and Turkey has been examined. As a result of the data examined, information such as countries which are the leading countries in the world apple export and import, production areas and production data have been stated in detail. In addition to this, the cities, which are prominent in apple production fields, apple efficiency and apple trade in Turkey, have been explained. It has been determined that Isparta has been the first of important cities in apple production. It has been seen that Isparta has been followed by cities such as Nigde, Karaman. However, when Turkey that has very fertile soil for apple production, has been compared to other countries in the world according to the apple export area, it has been determined that Turkey has remained in the background.
