Özet (EN)
In this study, energy relations between allycountry Turkic republics (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan) which play a crucial role in Turkey's energy needs; and Russia and Iran are investigated. The developments in the global arena have also affected the energy relations of the countries in a negative or positive way. In particular, energy importing countries have been significantly affected by fluctuations in the energy sector. Natural gas and oil caused the countries to be in a competition state in the energy sector by emerging as a guiding element of the energy policies of the countries. Not only the energy relations with Azerbaijan, which took its place among the countries that play a key role in Turkey's energy needs (Russia and Iran), decreased Turkey's reliance to a single source but also they enabled Turkey to be present in the energy sector in an active position. Results of the study, not only Turkey's stable energy policies and energy alliance with allycountry Turkic republics eliminates the negative energy policies that Turkey applied in the past but also enables having a significant status in the energy relations with Russia and Iran.
