Turkey's transation to international financial reporting standards and examination of this period in terms of employees working on independent audit firms

The aim of this study is to find out employees?, that work as; assistant auditor, auditor, senior auditor, partner auditor and senior partner auditor at independent audit firms, positon according to International Financial Reporting Standards. For this, we have get in contact with 57 independent audit firms in Ankara and İstanbul, and applied an overall survey to these employees. The analysis of 112 surveys has been made by using SPSS 16 Statistics programme. As a result, we have come to a conclusion that, the participants are following the necessary publications, revisements and commends of IFRS and this made them to reach an adequte knowledge of IFRS.
