Evaluation of Turkey's new migration management in the context of adaptation policies

In this study, firstly, historical process of migration phenomenon will be explained discussing different definitions and types of migration. Secondly, the terminology of the words of integration and adaptation will be explained. Then Turkey's recent measures taken against the mass immigration and the new immigration system will be analyzed in detail. The difference between integration and adaptation will be examined considering the current status of foreigners who are accepted in Turkey and the rights given to this status. The changes and projects in Turkey will be focused in the context of migration and adaptation. The effect of adaptation activities on the adaptation of foreigners in Turkey will be commented with the help of the results of the surveys carried out to find out the current situation of the adaptation of foreigners to government and society during their stay in Turkey. The current situation of Turkey on achieving the objective and the things to be done on the policy implementation of Turkey will be analyzed within the frame of this datum. The purpose of this study is to show the phenomenon of migration and the legislation and policies implemented by our country as a result of the migration movements, how effective the policies pursued are for the adaptation of the immigrant society with the society of the receiving country. This study also aims to explain which policies should be followed and which implementation should be used in order to manage a successful migration and adaptation process. The importance of this study is the fact that it will put forward some ideas that can contribute to the development of adaptation policies. The method of this study is a survey which is one of the data collection types in social sciences. While conducting the survey, the traditional type of survey controlled by the researcher was used and the questions were directly impelled to the individuals. The aim of the questions asked during the survey is to determine whether foreigners have problems with public institutions, their language skills, adaptation to the social environment and their participation in socio-cultural activities. SPSS system will be used to analyze the survey data.
