The emergence of happening art in turkey, the pictorial analysis of the harmony between music and body facts

In our age, art has changed into a sentimental phenomenon from being a thing composed and visioned. This transformation, has been by the movements following each other and originated in the second half of the 20th century. In these art movements, the use of body as an art object, interdisciplinary expansion and participation of the viewers have been important. One of these Art movements is ?Happening? which is originated by Allan Kaprow. ?Happening? has comprised other art areas like music, dance, poem, theatre, video, photography and has continued today?s art with qualification of action and duration as a source for other art movements based on performance. In this study, the place of ?Happening? in the contemporary art and its presence in Turkey has been tried to investigate in the context of the harmony between music and the body. The study has been tried to support by performance and drawing applications in this direction.
