Abstract (EN)

Political, economic, military, cultural and other affairs between countries can lead to national or international crises within the scope of cause and effect relationship. In order to understand the subject better the concept and theories of crisis will be studied, political crises-economy relations and practical example, political crises between Turkey and Russia, reflection of political crises on economies of the both states and their bilateral economic relations, especially economic tension after 2015 "Jet Crisis" and restructuring of relations in the post-crisis period will be the main focus of this study. The fact that economic relations between Turkey and Russia, in particular in energy sector are based on interdependence and in this regard the assumption that energy sector is less affected by the political crisis will be discussed. Considering the period of last 20 years, when the two states have developed influence against each other, predictions will be made regarding the future of the political, economic-commercial dimensions of their relations.
