Evaluation of the level of accessibility of health services in Turkey

Availability or access to health services are concepts related to the extent to which a society can benefit from the health services it demands. In the study, the accessibility levels of health services were determined by using the data of the Ministry of Health Health Statistics Yearbook of 12 statistical regions according to the NUTS-1 Classification of Turkey. Research data is one of the Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methods, TOPSIS ( Technique ). for order Preference by similarity to Ideal Solution ) method, using Microsoft Excel software. Although the results vary depending on the main headings of the criteria examined, the regions with the highest access to health services; In the mortality title; Eastern Black Sea, Western Anatolia and Western Marmara, in the Use of Health Services; In Western Black Sea and Western Marmara, Preventive Health Services; Western Marmara and Western Anatolia in Health Infrastructure; Mediterranean and Western Anatolia, in Health Human Resources; In Western Anatolia and Emergency Health Services; It was concluded as the Eastern Black Sea Regions. The regions with the lowest level of accessibility to health services are; In the Mortality Title, Southeastern Anatolia, Middle Anatolia and Northeastern Anatolia, Health Services Usage; In the Middle East Anatolia, Southeast Anatolia, Preventive Health Services; Istanbul, Northeast Anatolia and Middle East Anatolia, Health Infrastructure; Southeast Anatolia and Middle East Anatolia, Health Human Resources; In Southeast Anatolia and Emergency Health Services; It has been identified as Istanbul.
