Systematic rewiew on mobbing research in Turkey

The concept of mobbing has started to emerge in working life since 1980s. The concept of mobbing in organizations is the planned, regular and continuous exposure to pressure by one's colleagus or managers. The victim of mobbing may experience psychological problems due to aggressive and oppressive behaviors. The psychhological problems experienced by the victim negatively affect his/her private and working life. The victim of mobbing may experience a decrease in performance, productivity and effectiveness due to psychological pressure and depression. This decrease in the success of the person also negatively affects the overall success of the organization. Because in a work environmenhet where the employee does not feel peaceful and safe, in may cause material and moral failures. The victim cannot spare time for his/her private life due to the pressure and depression he/she experiences at work, and even if he/she does, he/she becomes restless and unhappy due to the evets he/she experiences. It even gets to the point that the person may even think of taking his/her own life and resing himself/herself due to the psychological and physical pressures he/she experiences. As can be seen from the researches, mobbing is frequently encountered in the health sector as in other sectors. As in other sectors, mobbing in health services is seen in different forms and severity. Mobbing incidents in health services have negative effectsts on the performance of health personnel. In addition to demographic characteristics, social characteristics also have an impact on the exposure of health personnel to mobbing. Mobbing incidents in health services affect not only the employees but also the socienty. Therefore, necessary studies should be carried out to raise awarenness about mobbing and to raise awarennes of employees. Legal arrangements should be nade to protect employees and deficiencies should be eliminated.
