Abstract (EN)

Anatolia, one of the oldest continents in the world, has hosted different civilizations. IX. With the arrival of the Turks in Anatolia in the X. and X. century, the Byzantine State realized that its lands, including Amorom, were in danger and began to take measures for this. The Byzantine State, which asked for help from Europe, guided the incoming crusader armies into Anatolia. This was the reason why Anatolia came face to face with the new host Turks. The Turks stopped the crusader armies in Afyonkarahisar, which is the lock of Anatolia, and also ended the ambitions of the Byzantine State on Anatolia.
