Investigation of financial investments and costs for karadon mines of Turkish hard coal enterprise between 2003 and 2018 years

Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises (TTK) is a leading institution that provides strategically important hard coal tothe economy in line with the needs of the energy sector. TTK has contributed tothe energy sector with greatwork force potential since its establishment. Especially, in the last 20 years, TTK which has lost its worker potential, has serious decreases in production amounts. In order to beter understand this decrease rate, Karadon Hard Coal Enterprise (T.İ.M),where production activities within the body of the TTK are most intense and has great work force potential, has been examined. Karadon T.İ.M is the region where production activities are challenging due to the complex geological structure of the basin in which it is located. Although it is not the region with the highest reserve amount, the fact that the are a studied has reached large dimensions, coking coal feature and the fact that a large part of the work force potential has been transferred here makes the region worth examining. In this thesis, the general structure of TTK was firstly examined. Then, the Project sand investmentsrealized for Karadon T.İ.M, the main subject of the thesis, were examined. Comparison of previous activities with there habilitation studies carried out for Karadon T.İ.Mhas been made. Studies carried out within the scope of rehabilitation projects donesince 1988, suggestions, studies realized and non-realized depending on the suggestions were examined, and both strategies to increase productivity in production and suggestions to increase the amount of prodution were presented. At the first stage, the production status of the TTK, the number of workers, gallery and flor developments, efficiency, financial status and physical investment amount were examined. Later, by making use of the "Gelik Business Rehabilitation Project" and the "Combination and Modernization Project of Karadon and Kilimli Enterprises", researches have been made on subjects such as the production amount, personel status, general quarry structure, working conditions, ventilation, transportation and waterdischarge.The information obtained fromother projects were compared with the information received from "Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Turkish Hard Coal Enterprises General Directorate Karadon T.İ.M., 1. Rehabilitation Project Interim Report" and general problems of Karadon T.İ.M were determined. In addition, the annual report, business intelligence module, TTK net applications module and balancesheettables were used in the secomparisons. As a result, problems such as transportation, ventilation, cost, water consumption, energy consumption, occupationalsafety, occupational diseases, workinghours, investments, production methods and fortifications were identifiedand solutions were offered.
