The thesis called "The Names of Plants and Animals in Accent of Turkey Turkish" has been prepared to determine the concept field of the plants and animals' names and to fill the gap in this area. Our main object in preparing our thesis named "The Names of Plants and Animals in Accent of Turkey Turkish" is to reveal the perspective of Turkish people about the nature. So that in this study aims to compile all together Field of the Turkish Plant and Animal Names's lexicon.Turkish people in Turkey have been dealing with animal breeding and plant growing so as to live on and supply themselves with food. Plants and animals has a large sphere of influence in Turkish culture. Some of them are blessed and became totems, some are not given much importance. And some of them are used for their benefits such as answering the needs of wearing, feeding etc. Plants were used in many areas such as medicine and pharmacy, cosmetics and textiles as well folk medicine. It is recognized that Turkish people have started dealing with agriculture in the ancient times and made their living on it. In addition to benefiting from the milk, skin and the meat of the animals; they started to be interested in hunting in the following days. Turkish people who led a half-nomadic way of living, have used plant and animal names in many of their proverbs which are parts of the public culture. Another goal of us is to reflect the way of thinking of the Turkish nation in terms of using these names. Therefore, all sources of Turkey Turkish reached have been scanned and different outcomes have emerged. Animals are given names various names in accordance with their types, organs, colors and other physical properties. Plants have been known as various names according to their roots, environments they grow, appearances, colours, lenghts, smells, usages (peole and their organs, animals and their organs, goods and other assets) via simile. When naming for animals and plants are examined, it is reconized that Turkish is based on objects in nature in terms of conceptionalism and uses a language of concrete expression. As well as naming via similes, naming via synecdoche and metaphore also takes attention with thier different features. In addition, euphemism examples and concrete concepts witnessing naming with simile and indirect naming in Anatolian accents were met. One other name given to an animal or plant in a region can be given a different name in another region. Moreover, the same name can not only have different meanings among regions but also be given to different plants and animals' names.When written and spoken materials in Turkish Language and Literature were analyzed, it was noticed that the names of animal and plants in Turkish are prosperous and various. Plants and animals' names apperantly show themselves in person's names, folk medicine, judgement and thinking patterns, expression related to customs, believes and dreams. At the same time, animals' names were also benefited to convey feelings and ideas in sagas and figure of speech such as personification, inducing to talk, simile in the language of culture. The Turkish people have also used some plant and animal names as nicknames for humans or for naming places. They especially preferred wild birds, animals with paws and male domestic animals, because they represented power.
