The effects of animal development in the Tokat of applied livestock support policies in Turkey

This research, livestock subsidies applied in Turkey were examined in detail, it has been demonstrated both positive and negative effects of the animal breeders. In this study, the reflections and results of the livestock supports to the animal breeders were evaluated in the light of the data obtained through surveys conducted by face to face interviews with 130 breeders from 18 villages of Almus and Artova districts of Tokat province. As a result of these supports, various solutions have been presented such as reducing input costs, reshaping the producer profile and social security regulations in order to make livestock production more attractive.
