An morphological and anatomical investigation on genus Bellis L. (Asteraceae) in Turkey

Abstract (EN)
In this study, three species (Bellis perennis L., Bellis sylvestris Cyr. and Bellis annua L.) of Bellis L. which belong to Asteraceae family have been investigated morphologically and anatomically. These species represent the genus Bellis L. in Turkey Bellis perennis L., and Bellis sylvestris Cyr. species have a perennial taproot. Annual species Bellis annua L. has an annual taproot. Erect and herbaceous stems of three species are rectangular. Three species have simple and spatulat leaves. Leaves of three species have bifacial leaves. Stomas of three species are anomasitic. Stems, leaves and liguls of three species have eglandular and capitat trichomes.. Morphological and anatomical properties of three species have been compared and the similarities and the differences have been detected. The results have been presented with photographs, drawings and tables.
