Abstract (EN)

With the increasing population and industrialization in the world over the years, the need for energy is also increasing. While most of the increase in energy demand from the past to the present has been met by fossil resources, nowadays, countries are preferring renewable energy sources due to the danger of depletion of fossil resources and their negative effects on the environment. At the same time, countries are diversifying their energy supply by increasing the use of renewable energy sources and reducing their dependence on fossil resources. One of the main problems in the development of this field is the high cost of new technologies and installation costs required for the use of renewable energy sources. In this context, countries implement various policies and incentives in the field of renewable energy. There are various tax incentives for the reduction of renewable energy costs and the widespread use of renewable energy by states. While various tax incentives are provided in leading countries in this field, it is seen that tax incentives in renewable energy in Turkey are not sufficient. In thesis, after explaining the incentives provided for renewable energy in the world, tax incentives for renewable energy in Turkey are examined in detail. Finally, a comparison of the tax incentives for this field in Turkey with the leading countries in the field of renewable energy, present deficiencies and problems are presented and solutions are offered. Keywords: Energy, Renewable Energy Resources, Tax İncentives, Energy Policies.
