Local autonomy and administrative tutelage on local government in Turkey

The significance of local government is being increased day by day. A lot of thinkers evaluate local governments as a school of democracy. Local governments are declared as indispensable for governments when it is considered from the current aspect. From this point of view, the local autonomy is formed a basis for the research. The local autonomy; It's linkage between administrative tutelage has been examined by taking into consideration within the administration integrity. Local autonomy is constituted the research subject within the frame of participant and local government understanding that is providing service. The inverse proportion between the autonomy of local government and administrative tutelage is required to be overemphasized. Because, there is need for providing a high balance between the local autonomy and administrative tutelage. Local government which is closer to local community than central government has to be very effective as the principle of closeness to public at service is formed the basis of local autonomy. Consequently, local governments that their organization has taken up position by election must be taken an independent decision and must be implemented the taken decisions liberally. Within this scope, the administrative tutelage that it's line drawn by law unsurely with the purpose of providing the administration integrity and public welfare will contribute to the local government.
