Abstract (EN)
Ferula L. is the third largest genus of the family from the Apiaceae (Umbelliferae). This genus was represented by 133 species in the monograph prepared by Korovin for the first time, the number of species was approximately 180 after the studies. In Turkey, Ferula's first revision was made with 18 species in the 4th of Flora of Turkey and the East Aegean Islands by Pesmen in 1972. Of the 18 species, 9 are endemic. In recent studies, the number of Ferula L. was changed to 24 species and 4 subspecies. Of these species 13 are endemic. Ferula rigidula has mixed morphological and anatomical features with close species from time to time and creates problems in definite determinations. In addition, the results of chemical studies on the results of the species has not been clarified for the diagnosis. In this study, internal and external morphological features of Ferula rigidula were determined. In addition, F. halophila and F. orientalis species, which are close to F.rigidula, were compared between stem, peduncle, leaf and fruit anatomies and their differences were determined. Also ethnobotanical characteristics of Ferula species were investigated and presented as a table. The information of the characters that have existed up to now and have been used for identifying the type has been clarified and has been also supported with numeric data. Key Words: Ferula rigidula, Umbelliferae, Turkey, morphology, anatomy
