Taxation of minimum wage in struggling with poverty in Turkey

Within the study, it has been evaluated how globalization and neoliberal policies are affecting our country's tax structure with respect to different tax types with the emphasis on the importance of tax policy instruments in the fight against poverty, the tax burden on the workers with minimum wage earners -who are firstly adversely affected by the unfair distribution of income fueled by the economic conjuncture of the period and constitute a large part of our country's workers, has been revealed with official statistics and calculations.
