Turkey in higher education institutions within the state of music education and assessment

The purpose of this study, conducted in Turkey in higher music education institutions determined the current situation, make an assessment, music education institutions in Turkey about to reveal perspective. The study population in Turkey in Higher Education Music Education conducted all institutions, Faculty of Education and Music Education Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Conservatories including a total of 72 different university's 98 faculties and the sample for these institutions Purposeful Sampling (PURPOSİV A SAMPLING) selected by constitute 12 universities. In the study, data was collected primarily for the whole universe and raw data as shown in the tables. In the entire universe belongs to the collection of data to work with purposive sampling method which will be the subject of universities is to be determined. Later in the sample at 12 universities Program Types (differences), Course Number, Instructor names, number of teaching staff, department of physical Conditions, Student Exchange Programs and quotas totaling seven categories classified were analyzed. The resulting data, descriptive analysis, general screening method, resource screening method, document review and historical research methods using the tables shown through and each substance of the universities themselves comparisons evaluated by, and ideally with the deficiencies found have been identified. Evaluating the results obtained from this study were interpreted and various suggestions have been made.
