Abstract (EN)
Thesis study named "Weapon and Equipment At Turks (From Beginning until XIV. Century) is composed of preface, introduction, two chapters, conclusion, bibliography, appendices and abstract.In introduction part our study are given general information about the concepts of weapon and equipment, focused on weapon place ve in Turkish society and three basic functions on the community. Also Primary sources of the subject which were used in thesis were presented. İn the first chapter are given information within the available data about what weapon and equipment to be used by the Turks, how and what condition they are used.In the second place and significance of weapons and equipment in Turkish political and social life assessed under sub-headings. It is understood that Weapon and equipment are not only an element of war in Turkish history, Weapon and equipment are not only a war element of Turkish history, but also as a symbol in various areas, had an important place in the cultural life of the Turks. As a result, This study named "Weapon and Equipment At Turks (From Beginning Until XIV. Century ) which had prepared benefiting from the large bulk of the contemporary resources by providing information about Turks, reveals Türkish war power largely accrued with superiority of used weapons by providing information about structure and technical features.Key Words:1.Turk2.Weapon3.Equipment4.War5.Symbol
