Competitive analysis of Turkmenistan?s textile industry

Textile İndustry is one of the industrial branches that plays important role on economical development process of developing countries. This industrial branch ownes important place, in terms of employment and foreign currency, in Turkmenistan?s economy too, which newly started to attach importance to extroverted economic politics. Textile İndustry started to develope since independence in Turkmenistan and especially turkish enterprisers have high contribution to this process.İn this study Turkmenistan?s textile industry are examined with the title ?Competitive Analysis of Turkmenistan?s Textile İndustry?. The first part of study provides general information about Turkmenistan?s country structure. The next part of study is occurs historical development of textile industry and global production and exportation of textile products. İn the third and fourth part of study, is about competitiveness and factors that effect competitiveness are determined and their impact on Turkmenistan?s Textile İndustry has analysed. İn this chapter also, production costs that supplies great competitive advantages to this industry has studied. İn the last section, competitive power of Turkmenistan?s Textile İndustry has determined using the revealed comparative advantage approach developed by Balassa and ?strong? and ?weak? points has defined by SWOT analyse. Finally an overall appraisal has evaluated and proposals has presented.
