Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study was to create a web-based dynamic management model which includes information such as the number of trees, species, ages and environmental variables including soil and climate between Mersin and Tarsus-Silifke. In this context, the classification of citrus fields was achieved using satellite sensor images. The number of attributes for each parcel in the study area, included number of trees, age of tree, the type of rootstock, the size of the area, irrigation method and environmental variables such as soil structure, climate data. The maps of climate, soil and topographical data of the region was produced and this data set was overlayed within a GIS environment. The created system allows target users to make a geospatial query on the database and access statistics and update the system through web. Key Words: Web Based Information System, GIS, Citrus Management System
