Abstract (EN)
Tut is the center of a very old settlement was established at the foot of the Taurus Mountains Southeast. South and west bound Göksu River, the eastern boundary is surrounded by tea Şepker. Tut, until 1954 the village, in 1954 township and in 1990, became the county. The north of the province of Malatya Dogansehir District, Central District, east, and south of Golbasi with Besni District is located. Public institutions and corporations organized after 1990. There are 14 villages connected to the district. Failure to the application of the zoning district in the heart of a healthy construction achieved. For this reason, at houses began to be built on farmland. Old buildings are made of stone and adobe materials such as soil, while many of them are not suitable to sit across the county in recent years, an increasing number of reinforced concrete buildings.Contains the majority of the population in rural settlements in the district. Depending on the field of economic activity in many rural settlement has occurred. Most of the settlements in the study area consists of public and permanent settlements. These settlements continue to grow. The effect of physical factors on the various units are formed settlements.A traditional building in the district varies in parallel with economic development. Often a combination of modern and traditional of life can be seen. The life of rural requires the use of animals in addition to transport motor vehicles. In the conventional tillage method of soil cultivation mechanized agriculture has not removed yet. The number of those who go abroad to work as laborers is quite high in the district of Tut. Agricultural lands are few and there is no industry organization. Many young people, such as Mersin and Adana provinces, especially in the summer go to work. These provinces, commercial, economic and social relations, has developed an advanced level.Agriculture is the dominant economic activity in the district settlements, farming is quite low, the service sector is negligible outside the center of town.Key Words: Geography, Urban, Immigration, Tut, Adiyaman, Distric
