Abstract (EN)

In recent years, widespread and intensive use of synthetic chemicals in the fight against Tomato moth (Tuta absoluta (Meyrick) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae)), which is one of the main pests of tomatoes, brings along various problems such as resistance, residue, etc. In order to minimize these problems, bioinsecticides were important alternatives and their consumption increased in our country. In this thesis, which was conducted to investigate the possibilities of use of local biopreparat instead of all these imported biopreparations, by Dr. Recep Kotan (Erzurum Atatürk University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Plant Protection) specified a high potential to be effective in a local Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki strain and for comparison purposes with different strains containing commercial preparations Delfin and Rebound were used. Delfin and Rebound commercial preparations were tested at a dose range of 0.02-1.00 g / l and 0.2-2.0 g / l respectively. The local isolate at a dose range of 1-25%, tested on the second stage larvae of tomato moth. The Lethal Consantration values have been determined. At the doses they are recommended, their practical effects was tried to be determined in laboratory conditions. As a result of the experiments, LC50 and LC90 values for Delfin were determined as 60 and 1780 ppm respectively, and for Rebound, these values were 433 and 19441 ppm respectively. The local isolate did not show the expected effect at the highest dose (25%) and was not used in practice.
