Abstract (EN)
This study has been carried out to determine the field crops to be an alternative to tobacco which are grown annually or summerly on prairies, hillsides and non-irrigated areas. In the study hereby, vetch, millet, aniseed, safflower, black-eyed pea, canola, cumin, chickpea, sesame, sunflower for oil, flax for oil and green lentils are used as materials. The experiment was recurrently executed in the Province Denizli, Town Buldan, and Neighborhood Derbent on a slightly sloped prairie for tobacco in accordance with the randomized blocks experimental design with three replication, in the agricultural year 2015. Yield value per decare for each product, sale prices from farmers, gross production value, production cost, unit cost, gross income and proportional income are investigated in the scope of the study. When evaluated from the perspective of gross income and proportional income, chickpea and aniseed turned out to be the most suitable field products grown annually or summerly to be an alternative to tobacco.
