Abstract (EN)
The fast and comfortable transportation and the safer transportation of the airlines are among the reasons why people prefer the transportation. The aim of this study is to determine student attitudes towards Human Factors Module given in Aircraft Maintenance High Schools and to examine whether there is any relationship between student attitudes and academic achievement. Another aim of the study is to determine whether students' attitudes differ according to the demographic variables covered in the study. The research was carried out with 71 students in the 11th grade with the students of the Department of Aircraft Maintenance Technician and Body Engine in Antalya. Within the scope of the study, attitude scale was developed by the researcher in order to determine the attitudes of high school students towards the Human Factors module. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, t-tests and variance analysis were used. Within the scope of the study, a scale consisting of 4 sub-dimensions and 15 items was developed and the reliability coefficient of this scale was determined to be 0.80. In the study, it was determined that student attitudes did not show a significant difference according to the demographic variables. In addition, it was determined that there was a positive and low level statistically significant relationship between the attitudes of the students to the human factors module and the opinions of the teacher about the level of competence of the subjects in the module.
