General definitions of composite materials and summary of other chapters were given respectively at the first chapter. Broad review of aviation and aerospace production of composite materials were discussed such as military and civil aircraft, aircraft engines, helicopters, space transportation system and also possible future applications. Honeycomb sandwich structure technologies, design criteria of sandwich panels and some loading problems were studied. One of the very important aviation related production method of composite materials, which is prepreg production methods were studied. Non destructive inspection of honeycomb sandwich structures were studied and some applications were made and results were discussed. Couple of case studies were gone over. Procedures and techniques of sandwich structures repair were studied and some applications have been done and results were reviewed.
