Abstract (EN)

With the increasing world population, energy consumption is increasing in aviation as in every field. Due to environmental and economic concerns, it is very important that this energy is renewable and clean. Although the fuels used are improved and the emission values of the engines are made more environmentally friendly, it has become inevitable to switch to electrically assisted propulsion systems in aviation. However, in the transition to electrically assisted propulsion, the selection of the aircraft, flight phase, propulsion architecture and components to be used is an issue that needs to be studied in detail due to existing technological constraints. Within the scope of this thesis, different propulsion architectures used in aviation, taxi phase of flight, batteries and electrical power units are examined, and a power system mathematical model is created through a conceptual design for the taxi movement of a single-aisle passenger aircraft with a turbofan engine. Mathematical modeling is done in the MATLAB/Simulink software and the results are interpreted.
