Abstract (EN)
As the developing technology affects the development of music at the same time, it has made it necessary to include the cultural timbres (sounds) in Turkish Music into the music technologies system. The fact that the oud, one of the oldest instruments in history, has a place for itself in this developing music technology is becoming increasingly important. In this study, the oud's sound formation processes, which is one of the stringed instruments of Turkish Music, and its structural features affecting this process were examined in detail. Due to the oud's structural features with bass character, during the recording, it was observed that a suitable microphone for the oud should be preferred, and correct microphoning techniques were needed. Therefore, the research was carried out to determine the microphones technique that allows obtaining the most natural oud sound with the proper posture-holding position of the oud and then transferring this oud sound to the Sampler program with this microphoning technique. The study's subject aims to be a useful model that can be used in the music education process. The research was carried out by experimentation and literature review methods. A Peshrev that experts (music teachers, studio and recording technologies experts [tonmeister and arranger], artists [the Turkish Radio Television Corporation (TRT), the Ministry of Culture], academics and other field experts) know jointly were performed by applying different microphones and microphoning techniques. The recordings were made in the same environment and atmosphere and were made to listen to a sample group of 55 people one by one. Their comments and preferences (opinions) were taken with the "Expert Opinion Questionnaire" form prepared on computer-aided Google Drive. As a result of the research, the natural oud sound obtained with the "Rode NT-55" Mono Microphoning Technique, which is preferred by the experts and has the highest percentage, was transferred to the Sampler program. It is thought that the creation of digital libraries for other traditional Turkish music instruments through the Sampler program will make a significant contribution to the field.
