The analyse and assessment of application of dumping and antidumping duty in our country

This study covers, in general, the damping, anti-damping and otherrelated concepts as well as the anti-damping applications within GATT andsome countries, and particularly focuses on elaboration and evaluation of,and suggestions for the national application in Turkey.Such policies as export oriented industrialization and import liberalizationpredominant in Turkey as from the 1980?s became a start point to handle thedamping and anti-damping applications in a more comprehensive framework.The national applications are prescribed under the legislation enacted in1989 and revised in line with the actual needs. The anti-damping applicationsmaintain their actuality and importance in terms of the Turkey?s target ofperfect EU membership.
