The reasons and decision processes of irregular migrants who use our country as a transition zone choose Muğla

There is an increase in the phenomenon of irregular migration in the modern world, which we can call the migration age. Turkey, which is located on the migration routes, has also received its share from this migration process. In addition to the developments in 2015 and afterwards, Turkey's being at the intersection point of Asia, Europe and Africa continents has made Turkey a migration route. Irregular immigrants from socio-economically undeveloped countries reach the developed western countries via Turkey. The story of irregular immigrants coming to our country dates back to the 1980s.After 1980s year, our country has switched from a country of immigration to a country of immigration. The subject of this study is the phenomenon of irregular migration that is increasing in today's world, which has become a global village. In this study, quantitative and qualitative data are used in a way that is not mutually exclusive. In this study, the reasons and decision processes of irregular migrants who use our country as a transit zone to choose Muğla province are investigated.
