Abstract (EN)
High and Advanced High Strength Sheet Materials (HSS and AHSS) are produced in line with automotive manufacturers' requests by steel producers. These kinds of materials; directing and shaping the usage increase in automotive, space and defence industry etc. day by day. Academic researches which are placed and ongoing in this field provides a positive effect on that increase. Besides it has a great advantage as high strength, it has a disadvantage because of low elongation characteristic in terms of shaping. Maximum Shaping Rate of Sheet Metals is expressed as Limit Shrinkage Ratio (LSR). In this experimental study; square deep Extrusion operation of dual-phase steels DP600 and DP800 which are produced by Sweden steel company (SAAB) is formed by using Simufact Forming version 16 which has both Finite Elements Method (FEM) and Experimental Method and is only developed for metal shaping. Experimental studies are performed with dual effect 50/20 ton and PLC controlled the hydraulic press. Before continue with the experimental study, Extrusion test materials are cut by waterjet to prevent heat effect. Materials out of cutting operation are used in FEM. Optimizing Friction and hold-down force which affects shaping, LSR is found 1,97 for material DP600 and 1,92 for material DP800. In Experimental Studies, LSR results which are found in FEM show similarity. On the other hand, using these two methods, Friction Value is found 0,03 as a column. This study shows us, using LSR before Experimental Study provides us big advantages in both cost and time.
