Computer aided volume calculation application with ultrasonic transducer

Ultrasonic energy is being used at automation systems, industry, military projects, medicalsector today. Ultrasonic energy which discovered 1917 has been used in many application.Using three ultrasonic transducer a volume measurement application made in this project. Fora volume calculation a corner point of the object we will find volume is taken for a referancepoint. All the dimensions and volume values of the object send to a computer through RS232serial communication protocol. Just because of the output voltage of the transducers used inthis project is analog voltage out type three ten bit analog digital converter used in the project.All the calculation operations and RS232 communication control made by a microcontrollerwhich has 16KByte ROM memory. This microcontroller also consists of three Analog digitalconverter and a serial communication interface module. We used these modules in Project. Inspite of Standard and unexpensive transducers are used in the project we could get accurateresults between 20-45 centimeters.
