Özet (EN)

People are exposed to intense sunlight during the day. UV-A and UV-B rays that can reach the world from ultraviolet rays can be quite harmful for human health. Both people and objects can emit infrared wavelengths that produce thermal emissions that can be detected with a thermal camera. Therefore, recently highly infrared reflective materials have been of interest, for example in achieving infrared stealth. Within the scope of this thesis, infrared and ultraviolet reflective coatings with titanium dioxide / copper-aluminum / titanium dioxide sandwich structure on polyester fabric were manufactured using magnetron sputtering technique. Coated fabric samples were examined with the aid of X-ray diffractometer, scanning electron microscope, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, UV/VIS/NIR spectrophotometry, FTIR spectroscopy and thermal camera. The results showed that the sandwich thin film on the polyester fabric reflects ultraviolet and infrared wavelengths. The applicability of the protective coatings produced within the scope of the thesis on polyester textile products we use in daily life has been proven. Thus, the body can be protected from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun, the contact of infrared rays with the skin is prevented and a heat barrier can be created by preventing the spread of infrared rays from the body. Thus, a new generation of multi-functional fabrics was produced for use in both the health sector and the defense industry.
