Abstract (EN)
In this work, direct andindirect effects of pesticides on human and their environment will be studied. According to the Toxicologists, " People have been forced to be used to living in an ocean consisting of chemical substances". In 1986, the number of chemical substances including pesticides exceeded two million. Pesticides shown different toxic affects against different live forms of living organisms. However, this is a fact that all the pesticides using for the protection plants from insects have been accepted as harmfull for human and animals. If all the living organisms within an ecosystem are taken into consiteration, the pesticides inserted to this ecosystem affect some grups indirectly later despite direct effects on them. The circulation of pesticides are very complex and have very complicated structure. For instance, in the case of using pesticidesagainst plant diseases and insects on forms, gardens on forestry areas, possible leakafe to air, soil and water aquifer resulting from precibitation may be seen. For this reason, organochloro pesticides pollution that is come from using pesticides have been researched in the Uluabat Lake and their drainage basin that is located highly productive agricultural region. During the laboratory experiment, the Hewlett Packard Gas Chromotograph and Electron Capture Detector equipment have been used to determine the pesticides.IV As a result of study, alpha -BHC, beta-BHC, gamma-BHC, Endosulphan and dieldrin have been observed in the water samples taken from the exit of the Lake and Uluabat Pump, Atabay Pump, Karaoğlan Pump that are feeding the water resources of Uluabat Lake.
