Abstract (EN)
The construction sector in Turkey has grown continuously by developing especially after 1920s and keeping pace with the needs of epoch. From shelters where people of ancient civilization used to prevent themselves from other predators, to giant towers of today, too much development is achieved. Today, practice of engineering methods is very variable. As a result of the developement in construction sector, the need of qualified employee has been existed. Considering the difference between employees which vocational qualifications are certificated and the others which aren't, it's been undestood that vocational training and education is too important to ignore.With authorized certification foundation, ''MYK'' provide national vocation certification to most of our employees about their profession in Turkey.The aim of the work described in this thesis is, analyzing how the vocational qualification certification is provided in national vocational qualification system for construction sector, comparing relations of national vocation qualifications with vocational and technical education and to find out which vocations can be added to operative national vocational standards in construction sector to establish new national vocation standards.Within the scope of this objective, the existing UMS and UYs were analyzed and the research was completed with the ISCO 08 vocational codes.
