Literature analyses were made study .Also, opinions of the art educator were taken and solutions was tried to find with the help of being obtained data. In the competitions organized between 1997-2007, the specifications were analyzed with the examples. The results found based on the finding are below; The competition specifications should be in the quality of explanatory and contain the necessary information because the deficiency in the specifications decreases the involvement and affects attaining the competitions objects and the process of checking. When the announcements are looked over, it is seen that selective committee was disregarded. Being noted the selective committees and giving opportunity to the experts increase the confidence to the competitions and the number of the participants. To be more effective in terms of social and cultural development ,there are some points demanding to be careful .The subjects in the competitions should be suitable for children age , encouraging to research and help the cultural and social development .The associations and institutions organizing the competition should vi always ask for advice, give necessary importance to the exhibitions and awards ,try to increase the positive effects of the competitions on the education of the art and bring in love to the painting. To sum up, in the primary school, education of the art is a supplementary and connective factor of the general education, so it was given more importance to the education of the art.
