Abstract (EN)

"Global Responsibility" Awareness in the Themes of International Council of Nurses (ICN) 2009-2018: Nurses of Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine Hospital In order for the nursing profession to progress as a professional organization, nurses should support the organizations they are members of, including the Turkish Nurses Association at home and ICN abroad. All professions can make their voices heard around the world only when organized together at the international level. The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the awareness of the nurses working at Bursa Uludağ University Health Application and Research Center to their professional responsibilities at the global level within the developing and changing health understanding within the framework of the themes sent by the International Nurses Council (ICN) between 2009-2018. The research model is a cross-sectional study. The universe of the research consists of 820 nurses working at Bursa Uludağ University SUAM. A questionnaire consisting of 3 parts will be used as data collection tool. The questionnaire was prepared by the researchers with the support of the literature and ICN reports. The questionnaire consists of a total of 177 questions / statements. In our study, 56.5% of 269 nurses working at SUAM were in the 25-35 age group, 82.5% were female, 82.5% were undergraduate, 24.5% were in 1-5 years of seniority. 91.1% of them were nurses and 43.1% were working in the clinic. It is seen that the nurses are members of the Turkish nurses association with 11.9%. It was observed that 48% of the nurses received training related to organizing in nursing, 33.5% during undergraduate education. 11.9% of 269 nurses are members of the Turkish nurses association. It was observed that only 80 of 269 nurses were aware of ICN with a rate of 29.7%. Although 48% of Bursa Uludağ University SUAM nurses received training on organizing in nursing, their professional organization and global awareness at national and international levels were proportionally low.
