Abstract (EN)
Today, migration and the phenomenon of migration is a problem that continues to increase in the world. In particular, the concepts of "refugee" and "asylum seeker" are among the most important issues on Turkey's agenda. The internal turmoil experienced as a result of the social and political movements called the Arab Spring and the wave of migration from Syria to Turkey and other countries have triggered forced migration worldwide. The wave of migration that has spread from Afghanistan, Pakistani hinterland to North and Central Africa, from the Middle East to South and Central Asia has become an ongoing agenda and problem of world public opinion. In the study prepared in this context, the phenomenon of migration was examined from the perspective of Turkey with the dimension of forced migration and asylum seekers. As a result of the study, it was seen that Turkey's migration policies have changed radically since 2011. It has been determined that the basic basis of Turkey's new period migration policies is international legal texts and that national regulations are much more flexible, generous, patronizing, inclusive and protectionist. It has been determined that Turkey strictly adheres to the principle of non-refoulement, goes exclusively to laws and administrative arrangements, provides guarantees by making readmission agreements, gives a special refugee status to those numbering in the millions, and makes full use of public services such as education, health services and housing. In this context, it can be argued that Turkey's refugee policy, status policy, housing policy, patronage policy and open door policies on migration and migration have turned Turkey into a target country for migrants and prospective migrants.
