Development of forensic computer processes compliant with international legal and technical standards

This study examines the importance and methods of developing digital forensic processes in accordance with international law and technical standards. The rapid development of technology and the increasing importance of digital data in the elucidation of forensic events have increased the need for digital forensic discipline, but compliance with international norms and technical standards is of great importance for the reliability and validity of these processes. The study analyzes the legal and technical incompatibilities encountered in current digital forensic processes and offers solutions to eliminate these incompatibilities. At the same time, the legal regulations and digital forensic standards in various countries are compared and the necessary steps for developing a compatible process are presented. In this context, both legal regulations and technical standards are examined and a roadmap is proposed for digital forensic experts to meet these requirements. This study aims to contribute to the creation of more reliable, transparent and internationally accepted processes in the field of digital forensic.
