Examination of private military companies in the International Law, in the framework of the state's monopoly of use of force and the development of United Nation's security system

Private military companies have emerged as a rising sector after Cold War. Also in many conflicts today, it is seen that private military companies have an important role. In this regard, the results that use of private military companies brought into international law, are important. On the other hand, the relation of private military companies with their conversion of monopoly of use of force, is a matter needed to be set forth. The prohibition of use of force which is predicted in the United Nations Charter and the problems related to the implementation of common safety system, are evaluated as in relation with private military companies. The study in question, by attracting attention on the use of private military companies by both states and United Nations, is intended to put forth the problems arising from this usage.
