Abstract (EN)

Artificial intelligence is gaining a more important place in our lives day by day. However, in the field of law, which is fed by different dynamics, it is still considered at what stages an algorithm-based structure such as artificial intelligence can be useful and produce useful results. In international law, on the other hand, how to distribute the powers such as making rules, ensuring that the rules are followed and imposing sanctions in case of violation are different questions that fall within the scope of international law, and considering the point that artificial intelligence has reached in our daily life; It should be discussed whether artificial intelligence can become a part of legal decision and sanction systems, which can be manipulated from time to time due to different value judgments or interest-based behaviors and thoughts, or whose effect is diminished within different systems. In this context, in this study, it will be discussed whether artificial intelligence applications, one of the current technological possibilities, can be a support and solution function for the weak areas in the implementation of the rules in international law and the sanctions to be applied in case of non-compliance.
