Abstract (EN)

The research subject of this study is the airspace issues between Turkey and Greece. Although airspace issues do not directly affect the relations between the two countries, they come to the fore at various times as a secondary issue among other problems. Airspace issues are basically problems of international law and suitable for obtaining many findings about international politics. There are previous studies on this subject in Turkey. However, in this research, the issues are tried to be discussed from the perspective of international relations as much as possible. As a matter of fact, in this research, findings on international politics were obtained by using the document analysis method. In order to reveal these findings, first of all, air law and airspace regime were examined. Then, the historical events between the two countries, that revealed the Aegean problems including the airspace problems, were examined. Airspace issues, which constitutes the main research subject, have been discussed individually in the light of the researches carried out up to this section.
