Abstract (EN)

Textile ındustry, which is one of the indispensable industries are Turkey's economy, continues its existence from ancient times until today. The textile industry is one of the most important locomotives of Turkey's economy; is one of the most important industry branches in our country thanks to its share in foreign trade, employment and added value it provides. In this study, Turkey's textile center, one of Denizli historical process that had until today antiquity, the contribution of the textile trade held in Denizli country's economy and in this context the export activities carried out in the international platform of Denizli textile analyzed in the light of research reports into certain years to contribute to the export of the country. For this purpose, the study consists of three parts. In the first section; The concept, scope and historical development of international business, the strategies of international enterprises to enter the national markets, the reasons of internationalization of enterprises and the risks they will face in this process and their current situations in the international platform are examined. In the second part; The current situation and problems of the Turkish textile sector are given by giving information about textile and garment sector. The third part; It consists of a case study and evaluation of the results of the elements that carry Denizli textile to the international business platform. In the study, interviews with companies operating in Denizli textile sector were included and qualitative research method was applied as data acquisition technique.
