Abstract (EN)

Globalization forced all businesses, small or large, considering not only their local market but also international markets before the production activity. For this reason, enterprises consider many factors in the external market while producing goods and services and operating in foreign markets. The volatile and ambiguous nature of foreign markets forces businesses to take action against possible risks. To reduce or eliminate the adverse effects of potential risks when operating in international markets, businesses must establish an effective risk management unit in their own organizations and have a strong risk culture The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between the risk culture of international enterprises and their internationalization strategies. The research was conducted on resident enterprises in TRC1 (Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Kilis) region. The data used in this study were obtained by questionnaires. The hypotheses were tested with the help of SPSS packet program. The results of the analyzes and evaluations demonstrate a statistically significant, positive and weak correlation between the risk culture perception of the enterprises and the internationalization strategies.
